Warren St. John profiles a “scrappy” left-wing publisher who has employed
anti-American author Noam Chomsky, disgraced arms inspector Scott Ritter and
self-important actor Sean Penn (and acquired a manuscript from the Unabomber).
It’s a target-rich environment, but St. John holds his fire.

The Times on those who doubt Iraq has WMD: “One of the most vocal skeptics is
Scott Ritter, a former Marine Corps major who worked as a United Nations
inspector in Iraq.” But Ritter’s the same geopolitical genius who predicted "The
US is going to leave Iraq with its tail between its legs, defeated.”
